Pan Yu from Jinling High School Champions the National Olympics of Math for Girls
Pan Yu, from Class 13, Grade Three, won the gold medal in the fifth National Olympics of Math for Girls (NOMG) this winter.
Wearing short hair and a pair of glasses, Pan Yu looks fairly quiet with her delicate features. Although she does not stand out among all the other excellent students in Jinling High School, she always sticks fast to her passion for math, reaping fruitful attainment this time.
The contesting team representing Jiangsu Province for the fifth NOMG was made up of four girls, three from Jinling High School (JHS), and a fourth from Nanjing Foreign Language School (NFLS). Peng Xin and Yuan Yuan from JHS both won the silver medal, and the girl from NFLS won a bronze medal.
