AMC美国数学竞赛喜报！16人晋级AIME比赛！

今年，我校中美班于2月4日和2月10日参加了AMC美国数学竞赛，即使在春节前夕，他们也没有松懈，取得了极好的成绩。排名靠前的同学们将继续准备参加AIME美国数学邀请竞赛。

ZMB has taken part in ACM on Feb 4 and Feb 10 and got good results even before Chinese Spring Festival. The competitors ranked high will continue to AIME.

AMC（American Mathematics Competition）为美国数学协会（MAA）举办的数学竞赛项目，于1950年成立，是美国数学奥林匹克（IMO）国家队的唯一选拔平台。AMC考试内容为25道选择题，今年学生需在线上完成。获得考试分数后，每年AIME（American Invitational Mathematics Examination）数学竞赛会选拔AMC成绩优异者继续参赛。

AMC(American Mathematics Competition) is a mathematics competition sponsored by Mathematics Association of American in 1950 and the only selection platform forthe national team of American Mathematics Olympic Games. ACM assigns 25 choice questions. Students need to answer online this year. After marking, AIME (American Invitational Mathematics Examination) will choose outstanding candidates to participate in next competitions. 

本次金陵中学国际部中美班共77人参加比赛，分为AMC10与AMC12两组，AMC10为高一（10年级）及以下学生参加的比赛，AMC12为高三（12年级）及以下学生参加的比赛。我校中美班40人参加ACM10卷比赛，4人晋级AIME；37人参加ACM12卷比赛，12人晋级AIME，晋级率分别为10%与32%。值得一提的是，还有五名同学排名在5%以内荣获全球优秀奖（Honor Roll），AMC10卷葛兴赫和陆致融同学位列全球前5%，分数为117分与112.5分（5%为108分），AMC12卷王心阳、季子翔和唐培原三位同学位列全球前5%，分数为120分、112.5分和111分（5%为109.5分），且王心阳同学在A/B两套试卷中都达到了前5%。

There are 77 students in ZMB participating in this competition, which are divided into group AMC10 and AMC12. AMC10 is for Grade 10 and below while AMC12 is for Grade 12 and below. There are 4 of 40 students promoting in AMC10 and 12 of 37 in AMC12. The promotion rate are 10% and 32%. Especially, there are five students ranked at top 5% winning Global Honor Roll. GE Xingrui and LU Zhirong are ranked beyond Top 5% with the score of 117 and 112.5 (Standard Line 108). WANG Xinyang, JI Zixiang and TANG Peiyuan are ranked beyond Top 5% with the score of 120, 112.5 and 111(Standard Line109.5). WANG Xinyang get Top 5% in both A and B test paper.

为了参赛者们取得更好的成绩，报名前夕，金陵中学国际部紧锣密鼓地展开了义务课后培训。每周一放学后，胡卿权老师与梁辰老师组织展开了一小时的竞赛培训。参赛者们利用课余时间在教室里认真学习。

To get better result, before the enrollment, Jinling High School International Department has set up after-class training for free. On every Mondays, one-hourcompetition classes are organized by Teacher HU Qingquan and LIANG Chen. Competitors work hard using their free time.

在十多节课中，同学们加强了对数学知识的掌握，并练习了数学选择题的答题技巧，在练习与考试中逐步提升自己。

Duringover 10 classes, competitors strengthen their mathematics knowledge, practise skills and tricks of answering choice questions, and improve themselves gradually in practices and exams.

最后，恭喜所有有所收获的参赛者！希望晋级AIME的16位同学在三月中旬的比赛中再接再厉，再创辉煌！
