我是田智雄  I am Zhao Xingran

 2010年是充满挑战的一年，我们仿佛是曲折道路上的探索者，我们走过了悲伤和迷茫，也经历了探索不时带给我们的惊喜，一路与希望相伴。

The year2010 has been full of challenges,just as if we were  the explorers on the winding road.We have experienced sadness as well as amzement during the expedition,Hope,has always been with us.

 

在过去的一年里，我们目睹了全球失业率在不断攀升，关注着欧洲债务危机升级。世界依旧笼罩在经济危机的阴霾下。但冰雪逐渐消融。中国人民在逆流中劈波斩浪，一举成为第二大经济强国。我们在颇感自豪的同时，更觉任重而道远。

In the past year, we have witnessed the increasing unemployment rate and the debt crisis in Europe. While world has been still in the shade of the Finance crisis.But the ice has been melting gradually. China has been working hard to get beyond the great difficulty.Now with a long way to go, we have more reposonsibilities to take。.    

 

  中东的紧张局势并未缓解，而东北亚的冲突和摩擦又让我们隐隐嗅到了硝烟的味道。与此同时，世界的另一端出现了和平的曙光，美国宣告伊拉克战争的结束，给渴望和平的我们带来一丝欣慰。就让我们放飞心中的和平鸽，祈祷世界的安宁。

The tension in Mideast has not relieved yet, however，the conflict and dispute in Northeast Asia has become a new focus,. Meanwhile,we have seen the light of peace from the other side of the world，that is, the United States declared the end of Iraq War，which brought us some comfort..Let us pray for the peace of the world.

  美国漏油事件使生态环境雪上加霜，大片消失的森林让我们为罹难的动物忧心如焚。而可喜的是，环保在2010年受到了前所未有的重视。坎昆会议也进一步标志着低碳时代来临。我国的积极承诺和行动，需要每一个人的参与和配合。保护地球，世界公民，义不容辞。

The oil-leakage event further worsened the environment, mass of the forests have been disappearing, but as we know ,the environmental protection has gained much more attention than ever before. Cancun Conference further marked the coming of lower carbon era.  Chinese active promise and practical action plans need our participation and cooperation for the common goal .

 嫦娥升空，蛟龙探海,，在我们为祖国现代化建设所取得的突出贡献而欣喜时，钓鱼岛事件，南海主权冲突无一不触痛着我们。

Chang-eII has been sent to the moon and Jiaolong has been to almost 3500 metres under the sea-level.,which inspired all the Chinese people greatly. However, Diaoyu island events, sovereignties conflict of South China Sea have still reminded us , while we are enjoying the outstanding contribution that we have achieved for modernization,

 2010年，也是中国网络腾飞的一年，网民总数首超4亿大关。在我们享受网络普及所带来的便利的同时，也能看到被给力，被捐款，被代表等一类网络热词所折射出的人民对于法制民主的积极推动。

Also, 2010 is the year that IT developed quickly. The amount of Chinese netizens reached to 400million .The more fashion words appear such as be gelied , be donated ,be represented, the more active effects on democracy we will see    

  伴着新年的钟声，金陵中学即将迎来他123周年的生日。在这次辞旧迎新的时刻，我们一同回望过去一年的成长，反思不足，以求2011新的超越。在这里，我们预祝大家在期末考试中去的理想的成绩。在为自己的明天奋斗的同时，我们还要以世界公民的视角关注世界，了解联合国的千年发展目标，关心妇女儿童权益等等。

New year is coming and Jinling High School will have its 123rd birthday. At this moment , we would like to look back the past year and are looking forward to the bright future. We wish everyone to achieve good grades in the exam. Also,we should observe the world in a new way , since we are all citizens of the world,  learning about Millennium Development Goals , carring for rights of women and children and so on. 

   就让我们放大视野，凝聚爱心，正如联合国所倡导的那样，团结起来，共同创造更美好世界。

    Let us enlarge our vision and condense our love, just like what the UN advocates, We, the peoples of United Nations, determined to work for a better world.
