Jinling High School - American Division (Zhong Mei Ban)

Program Introduction

金陵中学中美班为有志向去美国顶尖大学留学的优秀中国高中生提供极具挑战性的课程体系，将美国高中AP课程和加州大学洛杉矶（UCLA)学分课程融合进了严格的中国高中课程。

The Jinling High School - American Division, called Zhongmeiban (pronounced “Jong May Ban”) provides a highly demanding curriculum for outstanding Chinese high school students who intend to apply to top universities in the United States. Zhong Mei Ban integrates Advanced Placement (AP) courses and UCLA degree-credit courses with a rigorous Chinese curriculum. 

中美班是金陵中学与加州大学特色合作的基地，学生最多可以学习美国加州大学教授所教的七门大学学分课程，所得学分将可以转入他们毕业后就读的美国本科大学。

Jinling’s Zhongmeiban is the site of a unique collaboration with the University of California, Los Angeles. Zhong Mei Ban students take up to seven UCLA degree-credit courses from American college professors sent from UCLA. These courses are later transferred to the American university in which they attend.

中美班课程注重培养学生的英文写作能力、批判性思维能力、领导力和团队精神。

Zhongmeiban curriculum is focused on teaching students English academic writing, critical thinking, leadership and teamwork skills. 

金陵中学是首批通过美国大学理事会认证的AP学校之一，中美班学生可以选修心理学、生物、美国政府、物理、化学以及微积分等AP学科，将理科能力的培养和人文素养的提高融合为一体。

Jinling was one of the first schools in Nanjing to be a College Board approved AP site.  Zhongmeiban students can take AP courses in Psychology, Biology, American Government, Physics, Chemistry and Calculus.
